The WeTSR Shift

Therapy That Extends Beyond the Clinic

Our Therapy Department currently supports 186 clients with developmental and special needs. Through WeTSR, our focus goes beyond direct therapy for children — we equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills to continue that progress at home.

Traditional Model

Therapist is the sole driver of progress, limited to session hours.

WeTSR Model

Collaborative approach where parents are active partners in daily development.

The Framework

Three Pillars of Parental Empowerment

A holistic ecosystem designed to educate, assist, and honour the caregivers driving their child's growth.

Pillar One

T — Training

Practical training and coaching via the Rethink BH app, empowering parents to support developmental needs at home.

Powered by Rethink BH App

Strategies delivered directly to parents' devices for easy, on-the-go access.

Training Covers:

Understanding individual developmental needs
Implementing therapist-recommended strategies
Supporting communication & conversations
Developing social interaction and play skills
Managing behaviours appropriately
Incorporating therapy into daily routines
Pillar Two

S — Support

Ongoing professional guidance to help parents implement and sustain what they’ve learned, bridging the gap between clinic and home.

Continuous Guidance

Moving parents from simply receiving information to confidently applying it.

We Provide:

Professional guidance from therapists
Follow-up on strategy implementation
Practical home-based activities
Guidance on managing home challenges
Monitoring progress & adjusting plans
Open therapist-caregiver communication
Pillar Three

R — Reward

Recognising commitment. While past rewards included stipends and school fee assistance, our focus has evolved toward sustainable empowerment.

Evolved Recognition

Equipping parents with knowledge and resources that build lasting confidence.

The Shift:

Monthly stipends (past)
School fee assistance (past)
Sustainable parental empowerment
Active participation & confidence
Practical resource provision
The Bigger Picture

Extending Impact Into Daily Life

WeTSR represents a fundamental shift — from a model where the therapist is the primary driver of progress, to a collaborative approach where parents become active partners.

The Transformation

Before Structured Support
  • Children faced challenges with social interaction
  • Short attention spans and limited self-help skills
  • Difficulty communicating or participating in play
  • Parents lacked guidance on helping outside the therapy room
Through WeTSR Training
  • Parents are active participants in development
  • Recommended strategies put into practice at home
  • Therapy’s impact carried well beyond the session
  • Children building meaningful skills & independence

Our long-term goal is to keep strengthening this model, so more caregivers can be trained, supported, and empowered to help their children build meaningful skills and greater independence.
