Job Description:


As a Program Coordinator at Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs, you'll play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and implementing our various programs and initiatives. You'll work closely with our overall team, partners, and the community to create and manage programs that align with our mission and serve our community effectively. This position also involves fund generation and onboarding therapists, ensuring the smooth running of the organization under the direction of the Directors.

Responsibilities:


- Plan, organize, and execute programs that support our mission, meeting the needs of children with Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including educators, therapists, parents, and volunteers, to ensure effective delivery and impact of our programs.
- Coordinate with the overall team to effectively promote our programs, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage our program budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Compile and maintain records and reports related to program activities.
- Facilitate community engagement through workshops, seminars, and other events.
- Stay informed about the latest research, news, and best practices related to Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
- Generate funds for the organization and manage relationships with donors and sponsors.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage therapists and other professionals to support our programs.
- Ensure the smooth running of the organization under the direction of the Directors.

Requirements:


- A bachelor's degree in education, social work, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Program Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the non-profit sector or related to special needs.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and related topics, with a willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest research and developments.
- A compassionate and empathetic mindset, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
